Here's A Bit About Me
My love affair with marketing began in the advertising department of Whangārei's daily newspaper. It was there that I honed my copywriting and marketing skills.
I loved helping local businesses market themselves with content that wasn’t just filler but was strategy-based. Coming up with ideas was always one of my strengths, and I always had a clear vision for my clients — and that hasn’t changed.
A natural progression
As the Features Manager, I led a sales team that consistently delivered fresh, revenue-generating ideas.
I also worked alongside the Advertising Manager to develop Savvy, a monthly magazine that ran for years. Its success came from balancing great content with marketing opportunities for local businesses.
Today, the challenge remains. While newspapers and businesses work to stay relevant, the demand for quality content is as strong as ever. The difference? It’s now online, offering even greater potential for your growth.

I love variety, and my life has dished this up in spades.
I've juggled running our installation business and working as a freelancer, where I wrote website copy for a large Kāpiti-based website company.
This led me to upskill in on-page SEO and data analysis using tools like Semrush, SE Ranking, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
As an SEO copywriter, interpreting your data helps me strengthen your online content and improve your chances of showing up in Google and AI-enhanced search results.

In a psychological assessment for a job in Sydney, I scored in the 92nd percentile for abstract reasoning. This measured my problem-solving capacity, ability to learn and acquire new skills, flexibility, versatility of thinking, and capacity to solve problems in new or unusual areas.
